The Service

Link Preview Tool lets users submit public URLs, fetch metadata from those pages, render social preview mockups, generate OG/Twitter meta tags, and export preview images. Platform mockups are best-effort approximations and are not official renderers from Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Discord, Slack, Instagram, Apple, or Meta.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit private, internal, credentialed, or unauthorized URLs.
• Use the tool to probe, scan, attack, or overload any network.
• Bypass rate limits, quota controls, payment controls, or security checks.
• Use automated traffic that disrupts the service for others.
• Upload or submit illegal, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content.

Free And Paid Plans

The free version includes 5 previews per day without login. The paid plan is one unlimited plan at $5/month or $49/year. Stripe handles checkout, subscription billing, and payment details.

Paid access may be limited if payment fails, a subscription is canceled, abuse is detected, or required payment configuration is unavailable. Prices may change for future billing periods, subject to notice where required.

Refunds And Cancellations

You can cancel a subscription according to the checkout and billing tools made available through Stripe or by contacting support. Unless required by law, payments are not guaranteed to be refundable after access has been provided.

No Guaranteed Platform Match

Social platforms can cache metadata, crop images, ignore tags, or change rendering behavior without notice. The service helps you test likely preview output, but it cannot guarantee that every platform will display a link exactly the same way.

Availability And Security

We may throttle, block, or suspend requests to protect the service, users, or third-party websites. The service is provided as-is and may be unavailable during maintenance, abuse mitigation, provider outages, or infrastructure changes.

Intellectual Property

You keep ownership of URLs, metadata, and content you control. You are responsible for having the right to test and use any page or asset you submit. The Link Preview Tool name, interface, code, and product materials are owned by the operator of the service unless otherwise stated.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Link Preview Tool is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost business, or platform rendering differences arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date shows when this page was last changed. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
